Cleft Baby Needs
November 2007- Helping to supply some of the needs of Love Without Boundaries new Cleft House, Hope's Heart was honored to provide a few 'necessities' for these special children: a stroller, 9-bouncy chairs, 2-baby gyms, 10-crib mobiles, 4-high chairs, and a months worth of diapers for 10 babies. Each of these items flows from the love and generosity of Hope's Heart donors. We extend our gratitude to our contributors who made these gifts possible.

The Best of Care
September 2007- Seeing a frail newly orphaned baby has a way of striking deep into our hearts. This was the case with Jade. We met her while in China in July. She was awaiting heart surgery. Since then she has undergone delicate yet successful surgery. We are honored to sponsor Jade's basic life needs over the next year as she recovers from surgery under the best of loving attentive care.
November UPDATE- Jade is making remarkable recovery progress since her surgery. Look how she's grown...and oh, so happy! She smiles all day long, and seldom cries. She loves to talk to her nannies and visitors in baby talk.

August 2007- Caring for a child, as everyone knows, requires not only love, time and commitment, it requires financial means. We are pleased to introduce you to Gordon, a very special little guy who wil benefit from the annual sponsorship to help provide his basic needs. We are confident of the love and care he is receiving. We were honored to meet Gordon a couple weeks ago while in China. What a precious little baby boy.

Visiting With Babies
July 2007- It was an incredible blessing for the founders of Hope's Heart to visit some of their sponsored babies and toddlers. These are children who have benefited from either medical or basic life sponsorships. The time spend holding, playing and loving them was so rewarding. Here's a picture sampling....

Nutrition
July 2007- Providing a higher quality nutritional formula to either replace or supplement orphanage formula has noted remarkable differences. Babies have benefited from the new formula with noticible progress in health, growth, sleep, activity levels and development. Knowing this, a grant to provide Ji with this enriched formula for the next 6 months will encourage a quicker recovery from surgery and increase her overall health.
October UPDATE- Ji is benefiting tremendously from the enriched formula she is being fed. The latest report is that she looks wonderful, has great color, and smiles easily. She will continue to receive the extra nutrition so as to continue with her healing process.
December UPDATE- The decision has been made to continue feeding Ji with an enriched formula to assist her health as her need continues. We are grateful for the opportunity to assist her by funding the formula cost.

Touching One More Life
February 2007- Sometimes just seeing the face of a precious little one can make a difference for both them and us. One Hope's Heart donor fell in love with this face, and did something about it. Lily now has a one year sponsorship for her basic life needs in a loving foster home. We are grateful for the prayer and financial support that will greatly impact this little girls life.
July UPDATE- We visited with Lily while in China, and she is a sweet little girl. We are grateful for the loving care she is receiving, and the opportunity she has to attend pre-school that gives her quality interaction and one-on-one attention.
October UPDATE- Lily is a smart little girl. She knows the names of everyone in her foster home, and she likes to tell everyone how old she is. Recently she learned to name the parts of her body. Lily has a quiet and gentle spirit, and gets along well with everyone.
Enriched Formula for Four Babies
January 2007- To help meet the pre and post-surgery nutritional challenges of babies, feeding the highest quality formula aids their preparation for and recovery from surgery. Results from this program have shown tremendous assistance to their strength, growth and overall health. A grant has been released to provide 5 months of high quality formula for two little ones recovering from recent heart surgery. We are grateful for this chance to help in their recovery process.

February 2007- We have just sponsored two more babies to the nutrition program, one pre and one post heart surgery. Their 6 month sponsorship will help one gain weight and strength as she prepares for surgery. The other's sponsorship will be a valuable asset in her recovery from surgery.
